Shanmugam Buvaneswaran plays a key role as part of the Head Of Department team and is responsible for overseeing GMP Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Facility management activities at CellVec Pte Ltd. He has earned 22 years of experience in Large scale Manufacturing units inclusive of Petrochemicals, API pharm and Bio Pharmaceuticals production environments. 

Shanmugam started his career with Sanofi – Aventis’ Singapore manufacturing division and progressed to diverse roles in Jacob Engineering, Baxter Bioscience and Amgen. His range of expertise, gleaned from his various roles across multiple plant start-ups include cGMP manufacturing, New Product Introductions (NPI) and specialised regulatory inspections. 

Shanmugam has a graduate degree in Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
