With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare and biotech industry, Gayatri is a seasoned leader with deep expertise in commercial strategy, operations, marketing, and market access. At CellVec, Dr Gayatri is responsible for all commercial strategy and smooth execution of business operations, playing a critical role in shaping and achieving the company’s regional and global growth ambitions.

Prior to joining CellVec, Dr Gayatri commercialised rare oncolytic and genetic disorder products during her time at Cell and Gene Therapy catapult and Oxford University Hospitals in the U.K. She most recently served as the Entrepreneur in Residence at Duke NUS Singapore and led the Institute’s first gene therapy asset acquisition to big pharma overseeing the strategic planning for their gene therapy assets.

Dr Gayatri received her PhD as CHRAT scholar from Great Ormand Street Hospital, University College London U.K. and holds a Master’s degree in Health Technology Assessment from University of Sheffield U.K.
