Project Lead of the Manufacturing Sciences and Analytical Technology (MSAT)
Eric is the Project Lead of the Manufacturing Sciences and Analytical Technology (MSAT) team at CellVec, where he oversees clients viral vector projects on process and analytical development, optimization, scale-up and technology transfer from the MSAT laboratory to the GMP facility.
Eric started his career in A*STAR where he has extensive experience with bioprocess development of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies. He subsequently joined A-Bio Pharma, a biologics CDMO, working on the development and clinical production of biosimilar drugs and then in quality operations at Baxter Bioscience. Prior to joining CellVec, he was a senior lecturer and deputy course chair at a tertiary institute where he conducted bioprocessing training courses for over 300 professionals from the local biopharmaceutical companies.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and the Technical University of Munich and NUS with a joint Master’s degree in Industrial Biochemistry.
